Good Afternoon!
First and foremost I want to start off by saying thank you so much to everyone who came out to support the 2026 Harvest Festival on October 17th. We had a huge turnout for the event . I’d also like to personally thank my many sponsors and volunteers for the event, Chamber Board, and any other volunteers who helped make this event go as smoothly as possible! We truly appreciate the support from our community each year.
October was super busy with the Harvest Festival and all of the events surrounding the festival, but also this past month we have welcomed two new Chamber members with ribbon cuttings, Neves Custom Designs and Southern Couture Salon & Spa. We are so excited for both of these Chamber members and wish them the best as they start out in our community! We are also working on a fun new project, a community promo video, that will feature all aspects of our town in one video, and we are so excited to see the finished product.
We are still in the midst of a busy fall season even though the festival is now over. The annual Veterans Day Parade is set for November 11th at 10 am. Lineup will begin at the corner of E. Second Street, and immediately after the parade will be a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Courthouse. Also we are already planning for many of our winter events, including the 2027 Annual Chamber Banquet set for February 11th, 2027 at the Osceola. This month we will also begin the early stages of planning the 2027 Boots & Roots Rodeo, which is our biggest event of the year!
There are also many other community events going on in November, featuring several Christmas Open Houses, that are also featured in this newsletter. As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the Chamber, feel free to reach out!
