Good Morning, Members!
I would like to start off by thanking every single person/business who attended the annual Chamber banquet last week! We had a great turnout, and the event wouldn’t have been possible without all of you! 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for events in Donalsonville! February features the County Hog Show on the 15th at the Seminole County Ag Barn. At this event, the Chamber awards the Fennell Scholarship to one lucky winner! Also on the 15th is the BassMaster Kayak Series Tournament, sponsored by the Chamber, at Reynolds Landing.
In March, the Miss Seminole County Pageant will be making a comeback, with a new board and a new director, Abigail Grantham, on March 1st! The deadline for girls to sign up for the pageant is February 14th.
March is also shaping up to be a busy month, with many events happening locally! There will be a Bass Nation High School Tournament on the 8th. Business After Hours will resume on March 13th at the Donalsonville Lions Hall, hosted by Five Star Credit Union. March 14th-15th is the DDA’s annual Firehouse BBQ Festival Cookoff, which will also include a Community Yard sale on the 15th.
