Happy New Year, Chamber Members!
We hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We had a great 2023, and are looking forward to an even better year in 2024. We have been hard at work behind the scenes on a few projects that we hope to be able to share about soon. But for now, we are focused on some of our major winter/spring events. This month, we have the Annual Chamber Banquet on January 25th, 2024 at the Osceola Event Co. from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The event will be catered by Gay’s Seafood, and tickets are $35 each (tables of 8 may be reserved). Our featured speaker for this year is Mary Beth Brownlee, who is the current director of One Valdosta-Lowndes. Dress Code for the event is dressy cocktail attire. Tickets are on sale now at the Chamber of Commerce so be sure to stop by and grab yours!
Coming up next month is our First Port City Bank Youth Leadership Program Graduation on February 8th. We have had a great group of kids in the program this year and are excited to recognize them for their participation in the program. Also, Save the Date for February 15th, 2024, for the Annual Farmers Appreciation Luncheon sponsored by Southwest Georgia Farm Credit. More details for this event will be announced soon!
