The Donalsonville – Seminole County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our 9th Annual 2025 Boots and Roots Rodeo, an IPRA (International Pro Rodeo Association) rodeo, April 25-26, 2025 at Seminole Industrial Park, 2841 Ash Crossing Road. We had an exceptional turnout for our most recent rodeo back in April 2024, with a record number for ticket sales from Seminole & the surrounding counties, and we hope to continue to be able to put on such a fun, family friendly community event!
Once again, we are contracting with T-T Rodeo Company, owned by Justin Thigpen. Justin Thigpen is one of the most decorated cowboys in IPRA history. He has 19 IFR qualifications to his credit. At the end of IFR52, Justin added 2 more world titles to his resume in steer wrestling and the tie-down roping bringing the total to 6 steer wrestling world titles and 10 tie-down world titles and 5 all-around cowboy titles, most recently in 2023.
The Boots & Roots Rodeo features events such as Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling. Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing. Team Roping, Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Scramble, Cowgirl Breakaway Roping, Diamond Dash, and Clowns. We will also have food vendors, western themed vendors, children’s activities and more!
Events like the rodeo bring visitors into our community and provide our citizens a time to celebrate and be entertained in their hometown and county. The Boots & Roots Rodeo benefits our local youth, and the local Chamber of Commerce, and is a great family friendly event for all ages to enjoy!
