Finally, a community calendar of events that can work well for all of us. The Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce has created a workable community calendar that has been designed to include each and every open to the public event and activity scheduled for the citizens of this community. Too many times, events and meetings are scheduled simultaneously, and because of that, effectiveness and participation of each individual effort is less than it should be.
The Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce is leading the effort to create a calendar that will effectively work for the entire community and list every single meeting, event and open to the public happening throughout Seminole County and Southwest Georgia. Beginning in October, each upcoming week, and all of its scheduled events will be featured in the Donalsonville News. The entire calendar is now accessible on the chamber of commerce’s website – donalsonville-seminole.org – by clicking on the Community Calendar button located in the top right hand corner of the chamber’s website home page.
Citizens and organizations can easily have their event added to the calendar by submitting the title of the event, dates, times and activity information to Chamber of Commerce President Kadie Matthews. Drop your item to add off at the chamber office or email directly to Kadie at kadie.chamberofcommerce@gmail.com
